2018 FALL WEEK 2

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood

After a 2 week hiatus by Mr. Rogers, here is the JFFL newsletter for week 2 results.

-Nothing but good feedback on the new field.

-PWO’s win sets up a rematch with BD in the week 4 A-clas play-in game for the JFFL Bowl.

-Just Win Baby is looking pretty impressive after 2 weeks, in only their 2nd JFFL league.

Games are at Boesch-Kingery Park in Ripon (next to First Christian Reform Church), it’s about 8 mi. from Garrison Park, nice field. No dirt, all 3″ grass everywhere, should be able to dive for a flag or pass and come up with only grass stains. Directions: going north on hwy 99, take Main St. exit(first Ripon exit), turn left at the stop sign onto Frontage Rd., turn right onto Stockton (changes into N. Ripon Rd), turn left onto Boesch…keep the music low.

UPSET OF THE WEEK

No upsets for week 2, however LB Ballers almost pulled off the upset against the Jokers. LBB kept it close, then took the lead 13-12 in 2nd half. However, the veterans came from behind to win 18-13…if you LBB+14 you were a winner. LBB is improving and on an upward trend from league to league.
